Banana Energy Bites

The delicious energy bites are back! After continuously making the original energy bites, I have decided to expand my horizon and try out a new recipe.  I happened to have some bananas that were getting to be very ripe so I thought it would be the perfect time to make a delicious treat.

I have been hooked on these bites for quite some time now and find myself craving them randomly. I will only eat 1-2 bites at a time because they’re perfect for a quick snack when you are traveling to work, the gym, etc. Quick, easy and delicious.


2 ripe bananas

2 cups rolled oats

¼ cup peanut butter (can substitute with almond butter or any of your favorite nut butters)

¼ cup honey

½ teaspoon cinnamon

*Can add mini dark chocolate chips


How to:

Mash up the bananas in a large mixing bowl.

Stir in the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey and cinnamon.

Place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to make the mixture easier to roll.

Roll into 12-15 bites and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.


I made 16 energy bites varying in size.
