We are all faced with busy mornings that result in a grumbling stomach a few hours later when we realize we skipped breakfast. Although I would not use this as a replacement for breakfast, it could be used a breakfast addition or snack throughout the day. It is a quick and easy, no bake recipe for a quick protein packed treat.
I recently shared this recipe on my Instagram Story – Link.Fitness. These bites are super easy to make and only take about 15-20 minutes. 5 ingredients combined in a bowl and rolled up for a quick snack.
Peanut Butter Energy Bites.
My favorite part about this recipe is how versatile it is. You can easily swap, add or remove a particular ingredient and still have a tasty snack! Don’t want to use semi-sweet chocolate chips? Use dark chocolate instead. You could also add cranberries, shredded coconut, vanilla extract or cinnamon to the mix to create new flavors.
The bites are super easy to make and take very little time. Try them out, mix it up and enjoy!

- ½ cup ground flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
Place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to make the mixture easier to roll
Roll into 12-15 bites and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
